Digital Sequential Numbering
We offer an inexpensive and flexible service that sequentially numbers labels to reflect premium bottling of rare casks, including cask and bottle numbers to personalise each cask bottling.
Digital Printing
Digitally printed labels on very short lead times are our speciality at NSD. We have two reel fed state of the art digital printing presses which allow us to offer some very fast turnarounds on projects for the food and drink sectors. We have all the embellishments to add to digital labels like foiling, embossing and high build varnishes.
Booklet Label Printing
Booklets labels are critical in the pharma and chemical business sales and distribution chains. The ability to add 20 or more languages in a space that would normally hold one language is crucial in these market sectors. Booklet labels are also used heavily in on-pack promotions. Hot & Cold Foiling
We can apply foil during the production process. This is an inexpensive option with a tremendous look and enhancement to your label, very popular with luxury brands.
Embossing
Geometric tools trap the paper between them, creating a mark of the required image or logo. The result is very tactile and popular with luxury spirits.
Varnishing
NSD can enhance your label by applying varnishes during the process including: High Build, Rough Matt, Matt and Gloss and UV.
RFID Labels
We can automatically insert a security tag with your label, or a tracking device such as Radio frequency identification (RFID) or NFC.
NFC Chips
NSD can insert a Near Field Communicator (NFC) chip behind your label. Perfect for luxury brands and high value items. With supporting software, sales can be tracked and data built around the end users of your products. Ideal for perfumery, luxury clothes and drinks, and jewellery.
QR Codes
A traceability solution that allows the unique identification of individual bottles, cases and palletised units. We can print unique data on every one of your labels no matter the order size.
Flexo Printing
We are one of Scotland’s leading flexo label suppliers. Flexo is best for longer runs and for high quality high functionality labels for volume applications. Flexo printing requires polymer printing plates which are chargeable at cost.
Tag Printing
We offer swing tickets and tags, we have specific tag making equipment and we are one of the few manufacturers of tags in the UK.
Design & Conception
In 2020, we added a new design team. Our clients have the option of a full end to end design process and the skilled team can make adjustments to your existing design.
